Grief And Loss
Grief and loss come to us in many forms. It's not just the death of a loved one. It can also be the loss of our health, our lifestyle, our job, our life, our world as we knew it.
Sometimes we grieve for the things we should have had but did not - nurturing parents, the loving partner they pretended to be, the decent treatment we always deserved but never got from people meant to love us.
And the reverse - we grieve for what did happen to us that should never have happened at all. The abuse we endured, the pain we suffered, the fear and terror we survived.
Grief and loss are often tightly tied to trauma, anxiety, anger and depression. It's just not always recognised as such. But here, at Unchained Therapy, it can be acknowledged, explored and ways to live alongside found so you can reconnect to happiness, peace and calm.
